Devinian citizen poisoned by Technasian scientist during technology convention

During the second day of the yearly international technology convention in Silverside, the scientist Tom Tesla from our neighbouring country Technasia accidentally poisoned one of the guests that had been visiting the convention from Devinia.

While he was giving a lecture on how to improve the local fishing industries by making them more efficient and at the same time increasing sustainability in the industry, Tesla made a digression towards the methods used in Technasia, describing how people who they deem too old to work will be put down as to not damage their economy. These explanations went so far that the Technasian scientist asked an audience member to join him on the stage for a demonstration, which led to the Devinian being poisoned.

After this incident, Tom Tesla was quickly arrested by Salmian authorities, and the victim was rushed to the hospital, where they are now recovering from the poisoning and the shock this incident brought with it. Doctors have assured the public that the poisoning will not have lethal effects.

Tom Tesla is to be extradited to Devinia, where he will be required to assist the Devinian industries with his knowledge and pay reparations, amongst other things.

After this unfortunate accident, the organizers of the technology convention rushed to employ more security personnel and were able to continue the event on the third day without further interruptions.
