The Controversial Wedding: Unification or Dispersion?

Following the poisoning of a Devinian scientist by Tom Tesla at the yearly International Technology Convention in Salm, the nation of Devinia has asked the Council of Salm to send a representative to the wedding of Thomas and Isaura Isobel Iberis.

The wedding between Thomas and Isaura Isobel Iberis has been the main topic of conversation in Devinia for quite some time now.

The wedding between a farmer from the South and a noble girl from the North has devided the nation even more than before. The majority of people are happy, as this could mean a step towards unification between the two sides, yet others do not agree with a farmer marrying a noble girl.

Devinia has asked the Council of Salm to send a representative to attend the wedding, following what happened last month during the International Technology Convention. This representative will be Kalmar Heilbut, who will perform his newly released song during the wedding.

“I am honoured to perform at such an important international event”, Kalmar stated in an interview with SilversideTV, “it will be one of the highlights of my career so far”.

Controversial or not, this wedding will definitely bring many people together, and it might just become the start of the unification between the North and the South of Devinia. Isaura and Thomas stated that they will not let the controversy ruin their wedding and that they are excited for Salm’s contribution to their big day.
